About Us
The Colonie Senior Citizens Club of Colonie, New York, focuses on living life to the fullest and having fun. We strive to provide members with travel opportunities, social get-togethers and educational programs.
The Colonie Senior Citizens Club started in 1971 in the Goodrich School located at 91 Fiddlers Lane and was known as Senior Citizens, Inc. of North Colonie. The club started with eight members and quickly grew to 100 members. In 1990, the name of the club was changed to the Colonie Senior Citizens Club, Inc.
In 1999, the club moved to the newly-built Beltrone Living Center where members continued to help build the club and make it accessible to seniors in the Town of Colonie. Meetings are now held at the Administration Building at The Crossings town park, and activities are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Loudonville. Men's and Women's Golf Leagues are active during the Spring and Summer months.
Today we have more than 675 members who enjoy participating in meetings, activities and events.
